Volunteers at the Malvern Family Resource Centre play an integral role in helping to provide social recreational and educational programs and services that promote the well being of the community.

Volunteer opportunities are available in all of our departments.

Become a volunteer in 3 easy steps:

  • Click the ‘Become A Volunteer’ button below and provide the requested information
  • A Volunteer Coordinator will call you to setup an orientation appointment
  • Attend a volunteer orientation and interview (a parent must accompany children 14 and 15 years of age), complete training, police check and forms

A volunteer at MFRC will:

Other Information For Volunteers

Volunteers will be required to:

  • Complete a police reference check (for individuals 18 years and over; a $20 fee applies)
  • Provide a police clearance letter (for individuals 14-15 years of age)
  • Provide a TB test certificate (if applicable) obtained from their doctor
  • Complete specialized training (if applicable)
  • Complete a placement (minimum of 2 to 8 hours a week)
