At Malvern Family Resource Centre, our summer camps provide a dynamic mix of adventure, creativity, and teamwork, ensuring children of all ages have an enriching summer experience. Tiny Campers

Variety Camps

Packed with fun, our variety camps offer a mix of themed adventures, nature exploration, and hands-on learning.

For ages 5-10.

Tween Camps

Designed for older kids, this camp combines creativity and adventure, offering unique opportunities for crafting, teamwork, and skill-building. 

For ages 11-13.

Sports Camp

Focused on physical activity and sports, this camp offers a mix of fun games, team-building exercises, and outdoor challenges.

Who We Are

About us

Malvern Family Resource Centre aids over 16,000 residents yearly with diverse programs that enhance community health. Fueled by collaboration and dedication to excellence, we help Malvern and Scarborough prosper. Join and support our efforts for impact.

Milestones

Founded in 1972-73 from community feedback, MFRC opened in 1982 in local church basements. By 1986, it relocated to a new facility at 90 Littles Road, enhancing its capacity. Over the years, particularly in 2014 and 2023, MFRC expanded its programs, including urban farming and increased advocacy, reinforcing its vital role in the community.

Why become a MFRC Member?

Your membership includes free access to all MFRC drop-in programs for children, youth, newcomers, women, and seniors programs, discounts on registered programs, access to members’ only programming and events and voting rights at MFRC’s Annual General Meeting. We also want to involve you in new program design that meet your needs.

Testimonials

We offer different programs for various age groups, including Kinder Camp (Born in 2021), Tiny Campers (Born in 2020), Variety Camps (Ages 5-10), Tween Camp (Ages 11-13), and Sports Camp (Ages 6-12).

You can register online through our online portal. Spaces are limited, so we encourage early registration.

Yes! Subsidies are available for eligible families. Applications will open the week of February 18. To apply, email drobinson@mfrc.org with the subject line “Subsidy Request.”

Activities vary by camp but may include:

  • Outdoor games and sports
  • Creative arts and crafts
  • STEM and hands-on learning activities
  • Field trips and nature exploration
  • Team-building and leadership exercises

Our camps are led by experienced, trained staff who specialize in child development and recreation. We maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio to ensure personalized attention and a safe environment.
