Counselling (Individual Youth and Family)
Counselling services aim to provide support to individuals and families dealing with a variety of issues including mental health, (depression and anxiety), family conflict, stress management and coping, violence and trauma, grief/bereavement, self-harm and suicidal ideation and much more. (by appointment only)
Crisis support services are also available as needed.
Through individual or family sessions, clients will have a chance to develop skills and gain personalized support through the therapeutic relationship. Support is provided from an anti-oppressive, strength-based framework, specific models of intervention used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Psycho-dynamic Theory, and Structural Family Therapy.
All services are free and confidential.
